NOTE

The charm of this necklace, in full ethnic style Milliondreams, is embellished with originality by the inserts between one stone and another, in nickel-free silver-plated stainless steel .

ONYX Silicea : mineralogically it is a variety of chalcedony, that is quartz in compact microcrystalline masses, of an opaque or semi- opaque , uniform color, covering red-brown tones and the entire range of grays to black. Like all varieties of quartz it is very hard (6 to 7 on the Mohs scale).

Jasper is a mono-mineralogical sedimentary rock, i.e. formed by a single mineral, composed of quartz, and often containing some impurities, usually iron compounds that give the rock bright colors, making it sought after as a semi-precious stone for processing in factories .

Tiger's eye is a variety of quartz containing inclusions of crocidolite , a mineral belonging to the asbestos group. The presence of these isooriented fibers, yellow in color tending to gold, gives the mass a particular effect called chalking . It is mainly used as a gem for jewelry making usually cabochon cut. The mineral comes mainly from South Africa and is appreciated for its particularity.

The Paesina stone is mainly made up of compact limestone and clay , or marly limestone, and is almost exclusively typical of Tuscany . Geologically it originated about 50 million years ago ( Eocene - Paleocene ).

The name derives from the fact that this stone hides within it drawings that look like the work of a painter, but are absolutely natural, sometimes surprisingly simulating a landscape. The main extraction area has been around the city of Florence in Tuscany since 1500, where particular geological conditions have occurred.
There are no quarries or places dedicated to extraction and the findings are absolutely random, which determines their rarity. The peculiarity of the stone lies in the designs created by mineralized solutions in the presence of Iron and Manganese , which seem to reproduce ruined cities, stormy seas, inlets, rocks, volcanoes, mountains.

The use is purely artistic-collectible; it is cut into thin slabs then subjected to polishing. The Medici Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence has used it since 1588 . In France it was esteemed by Cardinals Richelieu and Mazarin .

For quality, colors and realism, the best Paesina Stone comes only from the hills around the city of Florence , so much so that in the world it is sometimes referred to as "Pietra di Firenze".

The Paesina stone is striking for the chromatic contrast of its components, light gray for the limestone , reddish-brown for the iron oxides , black for the manganese and blue for the clay .
